Bob Foster Extreme Sport Park
Great for all ages and abilities, the park is one of the best skateboard, scooter and bike parks in the region with 13,000 square feet of concrete, 8’ bowl, half pipe, and ramps.
Festival Days
This three-day celebration of community, family, and culture attracts young and old, and features live music, roving entertainment, children’s activities, a Fire Fighter Combat Challenge, and more.
Field House
Located in the Morinville Leisure Centre, the Field House can accommodate volleyball, basketball, badminton, pickleball, floor hockey and more. The facility can be divided into three courts which can be used individually or combined to provide a large playing surface. Check out the drop-in programs, registered programs and booking opportunities.
Fitness Classes
You’ll find a range of fitness classes for all ages and abilities available year-round at the Morinville Leisure Centre, Morinville Community Cultural Centre, and Four Winds Academy Dance Studio.
Go Fish!
Drop by the Morinville Fish and Game Pond and try your luck and landing one of the stocked brown and rainbow trout that are stocked each season. The site also features scenic walking trails, outdoor fitness equipment, a gazebo and barbecue pits.
Landrex Arena
Located on the main floor of the Morinville Leisure Centre, the arena features an NHL-sized ice surface and spectator seating for 437. Check out the drop-in recreation programs, special events and rental opportunities.
Let it Slide!
Looking for some winter family fun? You’ll find the toboggan hill located beside the Morinville Leisure Centre and surrounded by paved trails. Helmets are recommended.
Lite Up the Nite
This annual three-day celebration kicks off the holiday season and includes many wonderful, free activities to bringing together neighbours, friends and families, culminating in a spectacular high-level fireworks display.
Make a Splash!
Great family fun can be had at the splash park at the Ray McDonald Sports Centre Grounds. You’ll also find a play structure, gazebo, picnic area, beach volleyball courts, and washrooms. Open from May long weekend to September long weekend.
Morinville Farmers’ Market
Drop by Sundays from May to October for fresh produce, small batch spirits, preserves, seasonings, fresh baked goods, frozen meats, crafts, clothing and more. Visit morinvillechamber.com/morinville-farmers-market
Outdoor Multi-Sport Facility
Located at 104 Street and 99 Avenue, the facility features a skating rink during the winter and is available for basketball during the summer months.
The Arts are Alive in Morinville
The Morinville Community Cultural Centre hosts a wide variety of concerts, performances, art exhibits, and workshops throughout the year.
Morinville Leisure Centre
The Morinville Leisure Centre is a multi-purpose recreation facility that offers a variety of amenities including a fitness centre, track, NHL-sized ice surface, field house, children’s play space, meeting rooms and more.
